Widgets Help
Hi - I would like to add an animated clock to my forum - I have found one on www.clocklink.com and have the html code for it. However, I have never added this sort of thing before and think it must something to do with widgets?
Can someone please help me by giving me a simple guide to adding this. I was reading a tuturial about widgets but am not sure I was in the right place because I could not see where to add the code.
Thanks a million for your answer....

Re: Widgets Help
Hello,
You could put ur code where ever you want it
In a post, as a widget (on the side) in ur home page message ect.
If you want it as a widget, you will have to wait for someone who has more knowledge than me about widgets, as im still learning how to do them
Oh, thanks for the link, I was looking for one of these clocks for ym forum too

Thanks Darren - I had a go at putting in a clock via the home page message but it is much too large and not the look I was after. Glad you liked the site for the clocks
Does anyone know of a way I can add an animated clock - our group is following an event overseas and we thought it would be a nice idea to have a clock showing local time at that event. I'd like to learn more about these widgets.
Cheers

Re: Widgets Help
To add the clock in the widget...
Go to Admin CP > Modules > Widget Management > "Create a custom block". Fill the name, type and title.
Widget Source > Hit the "A/A" button on the top-right corner before you add the code. Now, copy and paste the HTML code that you got for the clock. Click "Save".
Now go to "Personal Widgets" where your clock is found.
Just drag and drop it on any of the side you want it to show up.
Click "Save"
