Hey I need help

Is there a way for new members to be able to not post anywhere apart from one topic?
for example

Member Signs up, Don't have permission to post in any section apart from one thread

After they posted they can post anywhere

Why the hell do i feel like im being left out of this forum

Sometimes it takes a while for people to read your post. Instant replies don't happen all the time. ^_^

The only way I can think of is using usergroups, and setting permissions for members in the usergroup to be able to post/view a forum. You also uncheck the permission for regular members to open a topic, etc. It is manual though, especially if you have a lot of people to add to usergroups that can post in other categories.

Anyone else know the answer?

There is no way of doing this. It has been suggested though.
