How to add a picture to the names of some users in the forum

I don't mean the rank pictures or the personality picture or the signature

But in alot of forums (I think most of them are vBulletin's)
I see these pictures.
for example: they do a graphics and designing competition
the best competitor get's a golden shape below his name

the second one gets silver
and.......etc.

these pictures are in addition to ranks,pesonality,signature...

They call these pictures "Medals".

Please help if you can.

hello, i understand u..but what u said is closer to a rank..but if u mean something else i think that i saw what u mean in a forum but it was IPB forum..not phpbb...sorry it's not possible but look..u can use the special ranks and attach the images u want to that rank and give it to those special members
