Domain Redirection, And No Credits

I was using Office Live for my website, then after using Forumotion, I was amazed. Forumotion has a lot more features than Office Live, but then Office Live has some better features than Forumotion. When I was using Office Live, I would have my custom bought domain, and my hosted domain. Whenever someone typed in my hosted domain, they were redirected to my custom domain. Does Forumotion do that whenever I buy a domain name? Or does it not go through? I have a lot of old links that are on my hosted domain.

Also, if I don't buy any credits on Forumotion, is my forum still going to be with me for free forever? Or will I get that take away.

1. Forumotion keeps your hosted domain even if you buy a custom one. Say you create a forum with the address "yourforum.forumotion.com" . you then buy a custom domain at yourforum.com . Then whenever you go to yourforum.forumotion.com you will be re-directed to yourforum.com . But all the links that worked with yourforum.forumotion.com will still work with yourforum.com

2. Your forum will remain free as long as it is acrive, 6 months of no posts/visits will get it deleted, even if you do not buy credits.
