WORD into Forumotion?

Hi can anyone help me with putting a word file into my forum, either as a link or as a open page/s to veiw???? Cheers.

Just upload it to some word hosting site & then provide the link. Open page to view, what does the word file contain?

Thanks, the word doc contains obviously writing. But it also cotains pics uploaded on the pages? Does it matter at all? Any ideas on a word uploading program? I know I can use image shack for pics but never used anything to upload word doc's before. Thanks for your help.

You could create a google account and use google docs to upload word and excel files. Also it does not matter that the word files have images on them.

We have done something like that for my forum where the new account information was shared with all the admins and mods so that several people could upload docs. We have done the same thing with photobucket and created a group account where all the members can upload and download their pictures.

Mmm? Thanks. I had a look at Google docs but thats not what I was after. Somehow I need to be able to turn a word file into a link. I made my file into a PDF file but that didn't help either? I tried to even open my word doc then highlighted everything then tried to post it that way. But the pics didn't go across? I need to read more and keep trying. But in the mean time if anyone has an idea for me that would be great. Cheers.

Upload the images to tinypic.com
Get the html code & add it then. Also just add the text while creating a html page.

Yeah still really not what I'm after? Maybe I just can't do what I'm thinking of. I thought I have seen it already on other forums? I'll keep trying or reading or googling : ) Cheers.

Still haven't worked it out? All I want to do is post a word doc or PDF file into my forum? If I could post the file for everyone to click on as if it was in your Documents then that would be great. Does anyone know if this possible?

Until, i get the content of the word file. I cannot provide you a html code which you could use to add it to a html page.

So you can provide a download link for that word file.
