How do I restrict access to the forum for registered users only?

General>Categories and forums
Click on any forum name.

Then view the forum for guests, uncheck it
Repeat this for all the forums.

I don't know if I phrased my question correctly, but what I was asking was how to I lock the homepage in such a way that should a guest/member come through to the forum the first page will be a request for them to put through their log in details or to register with the forum if they are not a registered user.
