The post screen keeps going back up to the top...

My forum hosts stories for people to read and also RPG's for people to play; However, I have had many complaints from GM's, Librarians and members in general complaining that when they are editing stories and/or creating a character dossier the screen keeps going back up to the top, not letting you see the sentence you are wrighting out...

I too have tried and it has done the same thing to me also...

I have tried the resyc forum key and the like but it still keeps on doing it.

Any ideas? ...

Very strange...Let the webpage load fully first then try to edit what you want...

I think you were trying to edit something while the page was loading,and that may be the problem...

What Browser you using?

But that means like 12 members including me... Which seems odd if we are all doing it...

Internet Explorer 8; but its not just happening to me...

This happens to my sister when she's using her facebook account...

I think it's a problem with the browser...

But does that then effect everyone else's? ...

Okay I had the same problem and I got the problem solved

By Following this link below this will fix the problem. But there is one thing I would say doing instead. At the bottom of Compatibility View Window there is an option saying Show all Webpages in Compatibility View click that option and hit save. It should now stop jumping. If you want you can add the websites to the list so that just in case you remove the option the webpages will still be in Compatibility View.
