Problem with the Favicon

Until now i was using a favicon hosted at fileden.com which was in .ico format and had 393kb. Several days ago(about a week) it stopped working.

I first supposed that it was due to the fact that my fileden account expired, but now, no matter where i upload the picture it doesn't work.

In short i am asking either for a step by step guide to posting a favicon on these forums (if there is one i am sorry) or for suggestion for a website to use to host my favicons. Thank you.
