Solved implementing navigation bar

Post by mr dmc 29th June 2009, 03:09

i need help in creating a web page. check out www.shopping.com. on that page there's the 'What's Hot on Shopping.com' section which allows users to views details by hovering the mouse over the category. This illustrates the interactivity which will be very much needed for my work.

Can anyone suggest which approach i should take in creating that feature in the page? also this would mean that only that area will reload, not the whole page.. the outer template remains constant, refreshing only the content in the middle of the page.. thanks!

its a spry drop down menu.

you cannot add this to your forum, but you can use a drop down on an html page you creating.

try google for some drop down tuts and scripts.

if you have Adobe Dreamweaver it can easily generate a spry menu for you in an instant... if you have the time you can downlaod a free trial of Dreamweaver and set up your page

If you want a shopping.com-style widget... you could sign up at their site,
design a customized version of their widget & see how it's put together.
