downloading zip files Empty downloading zip files

Post by Darccyde July 8th 2009, 05:20

I haven't seen an explaination about: how to create a "file download" section on my site.
I'm a Host/Server of "Delta Force Landwarrior", I create maps, and would like fans of this game to be able to download the "ZIP" files, as I post them, by clicking on them.
I would like some help on this issue "Please"... Thx! Sad

That isn't possible if you're forum is from forumotion. It is for everyone's safety, as somebody would put malware / bad files.

downloading zip files Empty No color in a post????

Post by Darccyde July 8th 2009, 17:38

scratch scratch
Why are all the options in "Post a Reply"???
eg: "Font color: text Tip: you can also use color=#FF0000"

It's Really a shame to "Disallow" color in a post.
Confused

A "FYI": to forumotion="Color is an expression/relatable
to happiness/sadness, common in "everything".
It really would be a shame to have a "Web-Presence"
in "Black & White". Not to mention computers/software, etc..."

You all are Kool for allowing a "free forum" usage, Thank You, But...
My forum would be really "Bland" if I disallowed color.
Then?, there goes traffic/users to my forum.

This is not meant as "argumentative",
Just Simply, Honestly, think about it. Very good
Be-Well

Just to clarify this once again.
There are no rules that say you can not post rar or zip files on your forum.
The only way this would be in violation would be if the content in the file being posted breaks tos. then and only then would it be in violation.
you can always scan the file befor you open it to make sure it is not corrupt with malware, spyware etc...
