Well is it ok if I can change it to this?

I'm no staff member, but I don't think it would be allowed.
See, forumotion has the right to advertise with what they feel necessary seeing as they host your forum.

Simply saying "Powered by forumotion Version phpBB" you cannot be sure if you are covering everything that Forumotion is trying to offer your members.

It's a bit confusing to explain, but you catch my flow?

figure is correct. Editing the footer is 100% illegal, and that is stated in the ForuMotion's official Terms of Service.

Rok, that is incorrect, you can edit the footer, but it must have the copyrights to FM, PHPBB and like to this SF, you can remove, and add whatever else you want.

Coolmickey, you may change "Free Forum" to "Powered by forumotion" as long as it remains linked to www.forumotion.com and it must also have the PHPBB Link un touched.
You cannot edit the PHPBB part as that's copyright to PHPBB services.

Because your aloud to edit ti to that - You must have the "forumotion.com" "phpbb" and "report an abuse" bits as their copyrights and homsesafe's for forumotion.

Yes, I forgot to say you must also have the "report an abuse" part of the footer
