[Only-topic] Your creations with graphic art softwares

Hello everyone

As a graphic artist, I've got the idea to open a topic where everyone can show their creations (signs, avatars, design, banners, ...)

For huge or animated pictures, I recommend to put only the link to avoid loading slowdown.

Here I begin with my creations and retouches! I made all of them with The Gimp Credits are given to the original authors of the pics used for these avatars and avatar+signature kits.

SupportActif's design. Only the main logo is not mine at all (macsou made it). My pictures are in .png format and I use a code to make them appear transparent under IE. The cellpics are the ones from this support forum. I recolorized them to make them suit with the design.

I used Adobe Photoshop CS for these creations. When I want to do an animation, I use Adobe Imageready.

Sweet Apocalypse knight. Brilliant work, but it doesn't really look like a knight (no armor)

And I just loved it (reminds me of Anubis in Stargate SG-1), so I decided to try to do something with it

Ah, pity, mostly because in that case, something similar can also be really easilly made using paint as well
(remembers a friend who got mad at him because he's better using paint than he is using photoshop pro or something like that)

Wow, that's really nice.
Did you do that through pixel art (meaning 100 per cent your creation). It's definately of a nic quality. I also like the saying under and the flashing stars, really nice work

pixel art is a specially technic of creation
You can done a cent per cent creation that is not pixel art

Their is a 100% creation that is not pixel art ... a theme that I work on for a FA and EB distribution

I'm impatient to see the final results

It makes me think that it's been a long time I haven't made themes for self-service since I left lda-creation.
Since that, I have only made two skins for particular boards. One for supportactif (MK's board) and the buttons for this support forum.

Man... I should take time to take some screenshots of my designs to post them here.

Your creations are really nice.

We see that there are more and more people here who make graphic art. We are currently working on a graphic requests section which will open soon, probably after the holidays.

Erm...All of those graphics took me a long time, and involved a LOT more than just 'slapping some images together'. Just because I do a different style of graphics to other people in this thread, doesn't make them bad.

But it's not just images slapped on there...there's a lot of blending work involved, colour layers, font placement etc. The Mickey/Rose sig especially had a lot of work done to it. I could show you the original images but I don't think I'll bother.

The last one, I found the pic of the hand, then added the brushes and different colours to it. I did not 'rip' it as you implied. The reason it is different from my other graphics style is because it was made for a request.

I'm sorry if I sound defensive, but it's because I've put a lot of work into these graphics over the past few months, and then for someone to come along and say that I didn't, well, that's quite frankly insulting.
