Sorry, but this username has already been taken.

The Storry:

I have created a forum: fbi4ever.forumotion.net

About the 14 July, I have checked my forum for some members (14.07.2009 23:57:46 (GMT+2)).
And all was OK.
Next day (15 July) I log on to the forum. I recived a blank page! same happening for some other forums. Later on, I get contact with my forum. Now it has completly changed !.
The layout was no longer the theme I used, byt a french one.
I discover, that wasent able to signOn as Admin or my own account
The message was some with: the user dosnt exist
I contacted support, and they activate the Admin. Then I could redesign the forum.
BUT I STILL HAVE PROBLEMS
When a new user try to register, this message appers: Sorry, but this username has already been taken."

WHAT CAN I DO to recover ???

back up your forum to the date before this started happening

The oldest backup is dated: 2009-07-17
(the forum support seems to have restored something this date) because of the missing Admin account end changed lay-out.

You can back it up from a previsous date

Look in the inactive user list.

1) backup: there is no "old" backup. The "oldest" is the date, I describe and this backup is allready in place. No solve of the problem.

2) The list of "inactive users" is emty.
When I try to register any users. I not even presents for the picture, where I can type in a chosen username and passrord.

Is it possible, that you try it ?

When registering, I advise that you go in the the userlist (you can do do so by adding this to the end of the forum... memberlist.forum!

Therefore, I also advise searching your email and it will tell you what your account is called.

The list inactive users is emty. (New users is emty) (Users deactivated is emty)


I have now put the "memberlist.forum" : http://fbi4ever.forumotion.net/memberlist.forum
Now I see the memberlist, but my own username still is'nt there.

I even try to aff an user from an different PC, but the same happen.
1) register
2) the next showen is: "sorry, but.............."

NO mails was sent to the administrator
