Domain Redirct Help: Netfirms

I can't figure out how to validate my purchased domain from netfirms.

I keep getting an error:
The supplied domain name is not well configured
You have no CNAME redirecting to : myforum.forumotion.net

Does anybody have an account on Netfirms that can help me figure out how to do this. I want it to be myforum.com instead of myforum.forumotion.net.

The setup steps i've already found on here have not worked for me.

I've tried to follow the directions given, but now I get this error.

You have configured a A type DNS ( A type redirects to an IP address, and not to a textual domain name like the CNAME )

Anybody know how to fix this?
