Are there legal age limits?

Not sure if this is the right section, but i just wondered if there was a minimum legal age that people have to be, to join a forum?
My forum is just a fish forum, so no adult stuff or anything, but someone said they thought there was a minimum age restriction applicable to all forums?

Anyone know if there is one?

I believe there is a international law that says anyone who is a member of an online community (Facebook, Forums etc) have to be aged over 13.

It depends on what type of forum it is. If it's like social networking, then you need to be 13 or over.

Normal forums, however, are different. It really depends on the content inside it. If it's a G-rated forum with strict rules and based on, for example, a Disney game, then you can join it when you're a preteen. So basically, it varies.

Ok thankyou:) Mine is just a Siamese fighting fish forum, moderated for content etc etc...

As far as forumotion forums you have to be at least 13.
But there are some parents that run forums for the children.
like i created a place for my niece 11 yo and her friends but my sister along with other parents run it and only allow people they know in.
