Re: navigation bar
Go to Admin panel=>Display=> Pics management=>Advanced mod=> General / explore.
Scroll down and click see examples and you click the hide button there then click save.

Re: navigation bar
you cannot change the text versions on the forum navigation bar.
you can replace the forum navbar with images... in that case you can define any names that meet your fancy
just follow the above steps ^^
but if you wish to keep text navbars...
as mentioned above you cannot change the names but you can make the few nav locations invisible to members
to remove the caledar - you need to disable the calendar feature
admin panel-> modules -> calendar-> management -> disable
to remove the FAQ, search you need to change the special permissions
go to admin panel->users and groups -> special rights
select faq and change to admins
do the same for any others.
Only admins will see the additional nav items.
If you totally want to get rid of it the image alternative is the best.
you can create invisible 2x2pixel images that replace navlinks you do not wish to see

Awesome it worked! Also do you really have stalkers? That's sad, seeing how the person has never even met you in real life Its not like this is school or a mall or something.
