referral system

is there a way to implement a referral system?

like every member has a unique url that he can give out to new ppl so they register under his url... and
he would get rep ... or other points...

Can you explain a little more about what you would like please?

Also,if you'd like a referral system,I suggest that the best way for it to be created is by:

ACP=>Users & Groups Tab=>Profile=>Profile Fields

its about inviting members onto the forum...
an already registered member (member A) can give an individual site url to someone else who isnt registered yet...

the new member (member B) registers under this url member A gave him...
for bringing this new member A to the site... member B might gain some points (rep or whatever) ... and maybe every member member A has brought to the site is listed in his profile

i already saw this on other sites too...
some sites even give out achievements for bringing up members... but thats another story...

Well,you can create a manual referral point system...

ACP=>Users & Groups Tab=>Profile=>Profile Fields=>Press https://2img.net/i/fa/admin/icones/ajouter.png

=>Add a field

Follow these instructions:

~Type : Text Zone
~Name : Referral System
~Description : ???
~Obligatory : Yes
~Preview : Profile
~Display type : Text
~Who can modify the profile field value : Mods
~Display this field for users that are at least : Admins
~Separator : Back to the line

=>Save

Now when someone wants to register,they can fill out the info so that the other member of your forum can get a referral point.

You can create a new profile field and use it to show the amount of referrals a member has...

this is feature that is on paid forums. some paid forum host might have the option for this and others you would have to install it. i think v-bulletin is one thats popular with that feature.

.almost everything AiKirika asked here so for would have to be put in the suggestions section.I feel ya man. but most of what you are asking is only done on paid forums.. keep in mind forumotion still offer the most features and options out of any free forum host.. sorry they are not offing what your asking yet.. but it can help to suggest. forumotion is always trying to add as many new features they can on there updates.
