google meta tag Empty google meta tag

Hey i want to use google webmaster tools to display my site on google but the problem is that when i add the meta tag which google gave me
forumotion add some characters before and after the tag
as a result google does't verify my site
please help

In the First typing box put Verify-v1 or whatever and in the second type box put the ranodm number letters.
