How to make a member a moderator

Firstly tell me how to make someone a moderator
but
i dont want to give him rights to delete posts, though he can edit posts,etc.

To make one a moderator, click 'User groups' link in your navigation bar....
Go to moderators group...
there is an option to add a member.

Ap==>Users and Groups==>Groups==>Groups Administration==>Find moderators and click the yellow gear to the side of it==>Add username

Hey, i want to make him moderator of a specific forum, not moderator of all forums.
How to do this

User & Groups>>Search User>>Click on the user and click on the permissions and click the forum.


Then go to General Tab>>Configeration click on that forum that you wanted to give him permission to moderate>>Click on Permissions>>Then click on Advcaned Mode>>Click what ever you want the user to do >>save

Do this for the sections you want the user to do.
