Ranking Not Working :(

I wonder if anyone can help me out.

We recently added a new rank to our forum based on post count (there are already a few in place) we have noticed however that it is not changing the rank when they reach the next post count level

We have double checked in the admin section and it is not marked as a special rank that admin have to assign...it is definitely a normal rank based on posts.

Any ideas??
