after i remove ad's

i think it looks to silly it's to close to the homepage, can i change something in the css codes to make it look like this?

it might be a because of that counter code!!!!, i also had the same but with the ads, when i insert a CSS it changes toe forum but never changes the ads background i don't know why, so i had to assign every color and picture manually

it's the same without the homepage
