PM wont work (solved)

Hiya i hope ive posted in the right topic. Im having a few problems with the private messages. Admins can send and recive PMs but only from another member of admin. And admin cannot PM a member or members cant PM admin or each other. I hope this makes sense. I have done a search and couldnt find anything. Thank you claire x

Admin Panel => General Admin => Configuration => Private Messages & e-mails => Private Messaging

=> Private Messaging : Enabled Disabled

Click enabled

I have they are all enable im just so stuck lol xx

Then you'd better check in the user's profile and see if P.M's haven't been disabled that way

They are all set to yes. and Allow members to contact me by email is set to by website forum. Is this right? sorry for being a pain x

Do they get a particular message when they try to send PMs ?

No there just is no option to PM xx

I took a look in the memberlist (guests can access it only if they know the trick, and anyway they don't have access to the email button and they can't send PM or enter the profile unless they're logged in) and I notice that the buttons have been replaced by a 1px transparent button. You surely have checked "Hide" beside the buttons when you were in Logos & Images > Buttons in your admin panel.

Go back to this place and replace these transparent pics by buttons. You can find a few of them in the examples.

What Katt means is that the buttons to PM are there, however they have been replaced by a tiny, see-through image. To rectify this:

Admin panel >> styles admin >> logos and pictures >> buttons

Once there you'll see a place to enter an image URL, and a checkbox which says 'hide'. Uncheck the 'hide' box, and then either click "see examples" for some buttons, or insert the image URL of your own. Remember to press the save button afterwards

What is the image link of the button?
If it's https://2img.net/i/empty.gif , then ou need to change it

ok , all the inbox private messages n all that do have that code on them. But what do i change it to? xx
