Forum Layout/Design problems

Hello,I recently installed a skin from hitskins.
Its called StrongerHold,by Placehold.
I like it overall,but there are some things I would like to change that I can't figure out.
I'm no expert at CSS so sorry if the answer is fairly obvious.

Two things are bugging me that I can't figure out/change in the CSS.
1.The gray(?) box behind the navbar(where Home,Calendar etc are at)
2.There appears to be a broken tinypic link in the footer area?I can't for the life of me figure out how to remove that.

I also pmed the creator of the skin,but posted this as well in-case I can get a faster response.

Hello,

The problem is that the footer background image is deleted. You can remove it by going to Admin CP > Display > Colors > CSS.

Add this code there and submit...

background-image : none !important;
}

I put the code into my CSS,but I still see the broken image.
The forum type is invision,if that has anything to do with it?

Also,I still can't figure out how to edit or change the gray box behind my navbar(where the home etc buttons are).

The creator of the skin,Placehold,has sent me instructions on how to fix this problem.
