Admin email address needs to be changed for newsletters

When i signed up to Forumotion i used my private email addy.

Now if i want to send a newsletter, my private addy is attached under

If this message is spam, contains abusive or other comments you find offensive please contact the webmaster of the board at the following address: (private email address)

Ive opened a new email account, and tried to change it under General>>Emails and Contact form, but i receive the message:

Error: So that the sending of email works correctly, the email used for the forum must be valid.

Could someone please tell me the steps to change it. Really need the help.

While sending a newsletter
Sender of the email :
You have the option to choose board@forumotion.com (So there was actually no need to change the profile address of yours)


Anyways to
To just change the email address completely.

You will need to change it from here
Admin panel>General>Emails and contact form.
Admin Email Address :

Then search for your user profile
Users & groups>Search users
Click on your username. Change the email address there.

Then you can change your email address in the utilities as well.


This way your email address can be changed completely.

Yep, i did that earlier, thinking it would sort out the problem above, but it still attaches the email i used when i signed up to open the forum with (private email address)

Can anyone help us please? We still haven't been able to fix the problem, so Newsletters have had to be put on hold.

Like i said, ive changed my address inside the forum itself, but obviously i need to change the original.

Ive tried changing my email address again (used an old one that still works), but it still wants to put my original email address up as the way to contact Webmaster when i send out Newsletters.

This isn't any good if i was to actually change my Email Address Completely.

You will need to do it every time. There is a drop down box at the board@forumotion.com click on your email>>Send message>>Done

Yeah, but that shows who sent the email.

The problem were having is at the bottom of the sent emails, this message appears...

We have opened a new account to use with the forum, changed my email address within the forum, but it still wants to send an email with this one attached.

We cant figure out how to change it.

Before the preview, you have a option to choose via which email should the newsletter be sent. Board@forumotion.com

Yeah, i know that. Its the address that is shown beneath it thats the problem.

The email says it was sent by forumotion, thats fine, but then it says to contact the webmaster, email (private address)

I really need to change it.

We have tested it so many times now, and it just wont change, to the new address we made up .

Surely, forumotion has a section where the webmaster can change their primary email they signed up with, cuz doing it within the forum doesn't work.

General>Messages and Emails>Emails and contact form
Admin Email Address : Change that to whatever you want.
