Form sent in a PM. Empty Form sent in a PM.

Post by DaBoss48 August 17th 2009, 12:01 am

There is this HTML form that I have made that asks a couple of questions. I have the Send/Reset button and all. But I wanted to know how I could have that form with their answers send to me in my PM box. So like that whole form with their answers is sent to me in my PM box. Please help if you can. Its pretty much just an HTML page I made with Text Boxes that asks a question then they fill it out in a box. Please help if you can I would really appreciate it.

There is no way of doing that.

How is there no way to do this? Because if you can have a contact form sent to you in Pm then we can do this...can't we?

I am just using the Contact Us as an example because they fill it out then it is sent to me. I am saying they fill out the form then when they click Submit that it redirects the form with their answers as a PM and is sent to me.

Hello,

you can have the standard forumotion contact forum from admin cp > general > emails and contact form.

or you can use luky's tutorial form that will send an email but not PM.

I was asking to have it sent in a PM because I have been trying everything to send it in my EMAIL but it wouldn't work with just HTML. So since that wouldn't work with HTML I wanted it to send in PM because that was my plan B. But I checked this website out and did everything. And it works perfectly! It doesn't open up any Email Client it just sends directly. It is amazing, thank you so much...you to Typlo for making the post. Since I got my Plan A I don't need a form sent to my PM so you can now put Solve and lock this topic if you want. And also Thank You to everyone who tried to help me...I appreciate it!

P.S. That post that Lucky made about sending a form to an EMAIL doesn't work. It opens up an EMAIL Client and that code it not reliable because it rarely works. I just want to let you know because whenever someone asks for something to be sent to an EMAIL you guys give him the URL to Lucky's post and it is of no use, so that is why everyone is asking because that one doesn't work.
