Auto tick

ok now lets say , i create a group called " Punish " . Now , for WHAT????!?!?! lololol . well that group wouldnt be able to see some forums , Because he broke the rules . So , to do this we go to the Forums permission and untick the group permission on some forums . so he couldnt View . BUT , wait ..... We cant untick it , BECAUSE the members can view the forum , so all the groups are Auto ticked . This is not just for punishments , we can also do like Below 12 groups can only view this and that , and even more . So we need an off and on autotick option.

yes it is . but it is very important for some occasions , such as making a group which is a " Punish " group . He wouldnt be able to view some forums , as he abuse it . But to make him not View some, we must make the members untick . Because , if we let member view , it will autotick all the groups . This is not just for " Punish " group we can do a lot of things , we just need ideas and creativity So lets make an autotick options .

And the

? icon will say :
This autotick option will automaticly ticks all group if the members is ticked .

and also the Option will always being ticked
so that users wont be reporting that it is not as usual . and if the option is untick so it will be untick for the forum permission and when they come back it is also still being untick . To keep it simple :

A ) If they didnt untick the Auto tick option , it will always being tick next time when they come for that forum's permission .

B ) If they untick the Auto tick option , it will always being untick next time when they come for that forum's
permission .

C ) The autotick option will always being tick if the users didnt disturb the autotick option .so lets say it is default.

This is the ideas we could use if this option is being suppored .

A ) we could use Kirk's idea .
he came up of an idea called the DOG house .
Spammers would be added to that group and he could only see one forum . the name is Dog house too .
He can only view that forum and cant do anything , so he would be stuck there . And this would make him Freeze for sometime and when he create new account and spam back , we could just add him in that group .

( well for my idea , we let him spam there , so he would freeze even longer )

create a dog house?

A dog house is a thing i came up with a few years ago to try to discourage members from spamming or members that keep returning under new ip address,breaking the rules etc....

what you do is create a forum called the dog house or what ever name you want to call it. then create a group with the same name.You place these members in the group and all they have access to is this one forum with no permissions.. no pm's not starting topics no nothing all they do is just see the forum and have no permissions at all. so there stuck there.

if they keep returning under new accounts. keep putting them in there.
After a wile they will get sick of it and leave.i found sometimes this method can be even better then banning. (sometimes)

what you do is let them view the forum. and just have a message in a topic for why they are there... lol i know sounds cruel. but they brought it on themselves.

Spam on forums is a never ending battle. it comes with the territory and all you can do is keep banning them and have good staff that is there as frequently as possible
