Eliminate publicity

Greetings.

I'm no sure if this topic should be here, but anyway here's my question: I would like to eliminate the enormous and unsightly publicity banner of my forum, is it possible?

Are you referring to the banner it's self, or the Advertisements above the banner?

I'm going to assume its ads.

When you are a guest, no matter what, its going to be there (although some domain hosting sites may eliminate it). You may, however, remove them for users via the control panel.

Please tell us which one, before I proceed, just to make sure.

Mmmm... I suppose I'm refering to the banner itself. Briefly, I do not want publicity in my forum, so what I have to do in the control panel in order to remove it?

Yes... , I think I could provide the link, but what for? I just want to eliminate publicity because my forum is devoted to Philosophy and History, and these matters are incompatible with foolish publicity (or at least I think so )
