Problem with admin panel

Well im not familiar with editboard forums but i have a problem..
When im in admin panel and i try to delete/edit something it switches me to the main admin panel page...and it doesnt work..it takes like 10-15 trys to delete a user
mail me pls for any info/tips.

there might be a trouble in the server and that is called "request timed out"

that might be the cause of your problem...so kindly be patient until the morning, and have a nice weekend!

This problem can also be caused by many other factors, here are a few to try and fix:

Try an other computer, if it works clear your computers "cookies" (cache).

Try an other web browser, Internet Explorer I recommend.

If this continues, try swiching to "Old Version" of the Admin Panel.

If it still continues reset your browsers settings, for it may not be taking in codes, to do this:

Go to your Control Panel.

Internet Options.
Hit the Advanced Tab.
Hit "Reset" (It should be at the bottom right)

If this still continues after all that... your computer is to old to handle the page.

Ahm...ok i tried everything but the reset...i didint wonna go that far...

yup~ this problem happens to my home computer but not my work place computer (Cuz the company is a company that provides internet service?!?)

Anyway, I was thinking if this is because of the ip address?
Can I change my own ip address to my home one (I first set up the forum from my office, and now, I'm quitting~)

Please assist~

This has nothing to do with your IP, and to fix your problem.... either do as I said above.. or just don't quit..

It still does it...i cant do anything with the admin panel if i dont try for like two hours... Help me pls

Hi, I've tried a method, that is making a user the admin (which is my sister) ~
and thenI use my sister's account to make the founder (which is me) from adming to user... of course, the founder will still be the admin.... and you wn't be able to change that fact.

but after 'resetting' a few times, my admin rights when perfetly fine~

But now, suddenly, after a 20 over days, I meet this problem again!
It may be due to the reason that I log in to my acct from my friend's house~ who is also a member~
This time, even my sis's account is affected~
which means, they will give "your session has expired when i try to do any splitting, merging and moving~
And at the admin panel~ I will keep going back to the main page~

Anyone can advise me on what to do?
