How to have my site viewed the same way in all screen resolutions?

My guests have complained that when they view my site parts of the site seems awkward and not aligned property. I suspect that their screen resolution is responsible for this problem.

I am wondering how to make my site viewed the same way in all screen resolutions, is it a html, css or forum option that I can change this.
