Restricting new registrars to a welcome forum

I want new registering users to post an application to join and then be moved to a group with permissions to view all the other boards.

Reason being is that the game the clan is for is in beta, and i dont want random registering users to go and look at info from the beta.

Also how do i get these awesum emoticons:

Also, how do I make a user a moderator?

Hello,

I'm sorry but you cannot restrict a user to a specific forum to post in first, before any where else. You could however vote in ym suggestion to get that feature for our forum
My suggestion

You can add the emilies via smilies control:
Save the emoticons you want to ur pc, then upload them at
Admin panel >> Display ( Tab ) >> Smilies > Add new.

you must goto the forums permissions and check what rgoups you want to be able to view the forum

yay! I FINALLY CRACKED THE CASE!

You add all members and guests NOT Able to see the hidden forums, but you make a group for APPROVED members to be able to see everything wehn they are moved into it.
