My site spammed

I have had my site spammed twice by multiple users...They are part of a site called undead-xbox.forumotion.com

They are saying i took there idea when in fact i played with them for around 2 months but i didnt take there idea because the thing is i cant change the layout and shit i just have different words and different forum topics.

I do alot more things then they do and they are saying they will take action and have you guys ban me...and sadly have xbox live ban me also. Im getting very annoyed i had a great idea for a site it goes smoothly and on the first day i get bombarded with spam.

So please can you help? i have ip banned all of the ones that spammed.

Thing is though when they spammed me with 56 messages with some gay porn,gruesome body parts that were severed, and some really other disgusting stuff that i dont feel like disclosing. But i did spam them back because my website was getting threatend i only spammed them with 14 messages and they got me with 56. So please help me. My webiste is Insaniacgaming.forumotion.com so please help i want my xbox 360 gta/cod 4 gaming community to work and i cant have it without getting spammed by more then 10 members of that site.

Please take action because this is very rude/unpleasent to happen to someone that is simply starting up a website for peoples enjoyment and fun.

I would help you, but you spammed back, so if we do anything to et them in trouble, it must be done to you also....

Spamming someones else forum back doesn't help at all and it cause more problems then it was. You just need to restore your forum back to the way it was and continue. Only IP them and ban their email.

I have been ip banning them they keep coming back no matter wat i do...they even said

We are the unbannable undead xbox... and im like wtf

But the thing is...i spammed them with 1/5 as much as they spammed me with... it this shit was kinda resonable...most of it was asking why they spammed me... i did a msg every 5 minutes so i dont think that would be spamming? so yea i want action taken because it hurts when u get spammed and it takes u over 20 mins to delete and ip ban all the messages and fuckers that screwed my site it took them no more then 5 minutes.... thank you

and i aslo didnt spam them even after they kept spamming me i spammed em the day after they spammed me...literally couldnt be called spamming...so could u atleast watch my site and then do sumtin about it then i have my admins right now watching the site ip banning anybody that has a ridicoulous name or has a name similar to undead-xbox members...and when they post we ip ban them so please help

They are using proxy and hard to remove that from the forum. There can't be action taken as you did it to them and made them made. All you need to do is clean up the mess.

Okay well i didnt do anything 2 them in the first place... they heard i had a site and wanted to fuck it up for me because im alot better then them and truthfully i am otherwise they wouldnt worry bout it...

I did apologize to them i asked the admin/server owner if we could talk about this as resonable young adults and he said no...

Mate, 2 wrongs don't make anything right. You still spammed back, regardless whoever started it. All I can say is good luck in trying to recover, bad luck that you had to spam them back.

You do realize, action can also be taken against you. You have also done something illegally. Right now, you just need to be careful.

ight well can u take action and just destroy my site and theres just ban that site and mine...if anything i would rather go down with them then 2 not have them go down at all... because it really bothers me cuz there all assholes...

If I may just add that airassault had seem to leave on his own free will. I will admit the spamming is a bit low but, can you blame us? He told us that he was too good for us and took off to start his own website, which is great and all but the game types and rules are a little too close to what we have in our community. I am not going to get into a he said/she said battle or who did it first but, I belive that taking others written ideas and game types and passing as you being the creator is plagiarism.
In any case, this is pretty un-fair that we need to be taken down. Airassault was a great part of the site but, the betrayal was too much for me and I guess a few other people. Please if someone must be punished than blame it on the people who caused it. I was defiently one of those people and the others can speak for themselves. As I highly doubt that this would stop a ban on the site but, if it helps than I will travel at any feat.
As angry I am at airassault for taking an action such as this, I see why and I would probably do the same thing. It was stupid behavior on my part and for that I am sorry. Even if the site wasn't endangered of being banned I am still sorry.
Looking back at this and seeing how I made myself seem desperate may have been bad on my part but, that doesn't change how I feel about this. I am not speaking for the site itself, however. I am speaking for myself and myself only. To me it seems like a shame to have a great community with that many people be shut down because of one offence. Don't you see a slight flaw in having one person reporting a disturbance and requesting a ban especially if it is an ex-member who didn't exactly leave quietly?
Anyway, that is my opinion on it. Maybe you will look on airassaults side or maybe my side but, either way an action must be taken. I just wouldn't be able to stand my self if I just let the site get banned without me saying something about it first...

My name is John and I'm the co-administrator of the forum mentioned above, Undead-Xbox. I'd like very much for this entire situation to come to a peaceful resolve. Now I'm very sure that the forumotion staff isn't particularly interested in the fine-print of the issue, but I will mention that the entireity of this altercation can be traced back to one crucial fact, that the user AirAssault54, was banned from our community (which focuses on community-oriented game varients of popular Xbox 360 titles) for not following our very simple code of conduct and website usage policy (Which you, Forumotion, are the creators of). Upon this breach in his agreement, he was punished accordingly. He broke a simple rule while playing a game with us and was removed from the session, instead of taking the punishment (A three-night ban from our matches) which would have been very easy for him to do, he decided to flood our forum with various topics that both begged for forgivness and insulted the staff. After recieving the cold shoulder from us (which he brought onto himself) he decided that in a grand act of defiance, he would create his own forum, which was obviously and soley inspired by our own, and advertise it as his own creation. THAT is the only reason my community took such aggressive action against his website, and they are entitled to their own choices, however rash they may have been.

P.S, I'd like to also add that I can produce examples of Airassualts less then stellar record with us on your request. This includes things that he has said himself via our message boards.


I only ask for this issue to be resolved and put away quickly and neatly.

My name is Zac this is complete and utter bullshit because for one thing this dick faced, co-admin said i would be unbanned if i did one thing and that was getting owned for 10 mins straight he still banned me... i got pissed off i posted 2 complaints on there forums about it. I left, and i never said that i was better then them in a whole i said that about particular members if they said they were better then me, i just wanted to create a fun gaming site that wasnt full of assholes, as u can see to me undead-xbox is full of them. Nothing of that sort anyways, so they are trying to say someone cant start up there own wesbite based closely to what they do when they for one never created any of the modes? They have might have made alterations to them but thats it.

All i am fucking asking for is for this god damn spamming to stop... and you guys particulary havent done anything about it cuz i have been getting spammed with gay,naked,inappropriate pictures while members of undead-xbox are laughing there ass off.

You know if you bothered with a bit of self-censorship I'm sure these guys would be alot more inclined to help you out.

Airassault, just to help you understand the concept, nothing in the forum world is perfect and always to go planned. I know how you feel about getting spammed and having to clean it up (I have the support forum and my forum to take care of, and it's pretty hard work.) But hey, without the annoying spam attacks, fake hack threats, and immature forum members, the life of foruming wouldn't be much of a thrill anymore... it'd just be boring. You, as a responsible administrator on your forum, should know what you should do or not do; you shouldn't come to the support forum saying "I got spammed by a big forum, and they didn't let me spam them back... can somebody please help me!"- that's a little bit too rural if you think about it.
I don't believe spamming is illegal or anything, so I don't think you can get in trouble for doing it. But, if you spam the content that your ememies were spamming (such as the porn, inhumane images, and disgusting usage), then you're only doing wrong for your side of the bet as well. If you want to spam them, then no one is holding you back, but don't come to the support forum asking for help to support your spam. Your problem isn't much of a technical forum-constructing matter, but more of a general issue that you have with another user on another forum that you consider as an enemy. Take the situation into your hands; if you are wanting to be responsible for your forum, then don't just go off and spam the enemy- simply discuss the matter through, try to correspond with each other about why the opposing forum believes that you copied their forum, and when everything is clear then you can shake hands and call yourself forum bystanders.

Any furthermore informational I'll throw in here is for you to post the links to the spam that the opposing forum has made on your forum, grab the spammer's IP (unless they are using a proxy), and then the support forum can help you right here and right now with this situation.
