Upgrade to pro today???

One of my members has just called me and said he cant see my forum, apparentley its got upgrade to pro today....bandwidth excedded etc written all over it, I cant see anything other than a few half a logos that wernt there before at the side of the forum.....I didnt know I needed a pro account?

I seen that happen with photobucket -it's never happened to me though.

You could host your images at: https://i.servimg.com/ or another host.

I do host my images with servimg thats what I dont understand Sad

Aha... that's a photobucket message so it's the images in your theme.
You could change theme's or wait for photobucket to fix their error.
Hopefully someone else that's dealt with this issue will post soon.

I have this all over my forum as well and members contacting me,

This is not good, its happened to me again! I cant allow this to happen. I have forum members to think about. I run a forum for a band, we need the display to work properly. I changed theme once before and I cant keep changing it. I have a jalokim theme, why does this keep happening? is it a problem with photobucket or does Jalokim have a problem with his account there. Whats actually going on? Cos this is getting quite annoying, I cant keep explaining to my members its a temporary fault.....hmmmm.

Is this temporary.

It is difficult for me to change my theme. There are only 2 that my members can cope with as they suffer from a medical condition that causes visual and cognitive disturbances and a lot of the themes are just too bright and busy for them?

Cloudscape, I understand your urgency. My forum is a lifeline for my members and is not usable at the moment.

to fix this problem i had to go in my CSS and look for every single photobucket link,and open them in a new browser to copy that image to my lap and then upload each one to tinypic.com after i used tinypic url to replace the photobucket mess up one..now my forum is back to it self..so the best way is host all your images to tinypic.com or ripaway and it will solved your headace..bless

I didnt think it was but it may be, I changed to it when I had trouble last time

Ive found a temp solution for the photo bucket problem,

*right click on one of the photobucket logos and then click view background image,

this will open up the image in a new tab,

*right click again on the image and click block images from photobucket.

However it isnt working for alot of my members

yes its jalokims skins,at least on my chamo skin.. his photobucket accnt space allowed is most likely maxed out,therefor you'll get those god aweful images plastered everywhere.. I have been effected by this twice in the past year.. I'm not so worried it this time as i know its an easy fix,if jalokim gets on top of it.. not much i can do with the phpbb3 version,otherwise i'd store my own images for site.. patience people!!

i posted somewhere.. The accnt with photobucket is maxed out that stores these images..its potobuckets way of letting the accnt subscriber know.. nice!!
