Edit HTML Code? Empty Edit HTML Code?

In the Forum Security, I went to manage forum backup, and set the HTML code to show so I could edit it. It said I have to go the Admin Panel to edit the code, but I can't find where. If I try to set it back in the backup place, it won't let me. Can someone please help? My forum is at: http://justacrossthepond.forumotion.com/

Also, is there an easier way to edit the codes?

Administration panel => display => home page => generalities => homepage message => message content: EDIT HTML => Save
