hi.. how do i stop guests from posting ..

You need to use the Administration Panel.
Go into; General - Forum - Categories and forums.
Then scroll down, you'll see an icon with a red X and a green check mark, thats the Permissions for each forum, just look at the top bar of the table, and its the premissions that guests have, uncheck 'Write and Reply.'

If you have alot of forums, then it may take some time, but i'm not aware of any other way to fix the issue.

that is the only way to fix it.
How ever it is easier to set ones forums permissions first. then when you go to set the other select the copy permissions from the first forum you have set and so on. this way you do not have to go through ever forums permissions one by one.

just remember that you are copying the permissions from a forum that you have already set.
