Edit Button not showing

I set my forum to allow all members to edit their own posts in the permissions area on all the forums. However, I am being told by my members that they can not see the edit button. The edit had been working until about a week ago.

Is there another place I need to set in the admin area to allow the edits?

Check for the edit button, if its there or not?

Yes it is there, the admins and mods can see it. For some reason the members can not. Like I said it is set in the permissions for members to edit their own posts. I went through each forum to double check.

Maybe it is just a glitch, that will work it self out?

General>MEssages and emails>configuration
Message edit duration limit for a member : None should be checked.

See if that works then?

They are all set at 0. And none is checked.

Click on any forum name
permissions tab
check for edit messages, check it for members.

See if that helps.

I did that before I posted. They still can not edit. I even deleted and reloaded the edit button.

Can i get access to your admin panel for a while?

None was unchecked. that was the issue.
