Replace The Old Spoiler Code? Empty Replace The Old Spoiler Code?

Post by SirMagus September 25th 2009, 6:52 am

I want to replace the old Spoiler code with something like this.

Code:
<div style="margin:20px; margin-top:5px"><div class="quotetitle"><input class="button2 btnlite" type="button" value="Show" style="text-align:center;width:100px;margin:0px;padding:0px;" onclick="if (this.parentNode.parentNode.getElementsByTagName('div')[1].getElementsByTagName('div')[0].style.display != '') { this.parentNode.parentNode.getElementsByTagName('div')[1].getElementsByTagName('div')[0].style.display = '';      this.innerText = ''; this.value = 'Hide'; } else { this.parentNode.parentNode.getElementsByTagName('div')[1].getElementsByTagName('div')[0].style.display = 'none'; this.innerText = ''; this.value = 'Show'; }" /></div><div class="quotecontent"><div style="display: none;">{TEXT}</div></div></div>

But I have no idea how to locate the old Spoiler code and replace it with a new one.

The code above is one of those where you get nothing but a button saying "Show" when hiding and "Hide" when showing.

If you help me I'll give you Cookie =D groar

Hello,

I don't think its possible without making changes in your template.
Template editing is only available for phpBB2 and punBB.

If you are good at coding, you should go through and make necessary changes.

Uhm,,, that's what I've been saying from the beginning...

I can't code even if my life depended on it, lol

I just found that code on the net, and I just tried a code in a post, and it looked good,

but I wanted it to become the standard "Spoiler" code to be used.

So if anyone knows where to put this code to change out the standard "spoiler" button code, then I'll be very happy =P

There has to be someone out there that can do it o.o

I dun like the old one too much, cause at least for me,

it only shows as a gray line with no text whatsoever saying it's a spoiler.

A Spoiler button is cooler =P
