More Like a social Network

hey, I was wondering if any of you guys can give me some help with turning my forum into more of a social network. Any tips.

What type of Social Network are you after, something like Myspace, youtube, ect?

Sort of like a ning?

Public forums are social networks in a sense.
Of course you will not be able to get all the features like face boom or my space. but you do have friends management and you can create a lot of different profile fields etc.. soon the update will be in and you cam place any topics onto myspace,facebook i think twitter too. not sure.
and remember the forums now have the bog option to which you can have go to your facebook profile.

So it just depends how many active members you can get. but forums are social for sure


And once gain with these new updates like being able to put your topics on places like facebook and myspace.. this can really help out peoples forums and forum community really well

Yeah, but I was wondering if I could have the profiles more integrated into the forum, rather than being like a sepret section.
I was hoping to achive this by some widgets in the sidebar, like new members.
