ugh, losing battle, need help with code
hello,
my friend has a business and i wanted to put a clicky logo to his site on my forum, but i cannot seem to figure out what code will work. I have the logo in .jpg format but cannot seem to write a code that makes the logo a clicky directly to his site.
can someone help me with one and just tell me where to insert the image link and his site link?
thanks!!

Use this:
If you want a BBCode to use in a post:
- Code:
<a href="LINK TO YOUR FRIEND'S BUSINESS" target="_blank" title="TITLE OF YOUR FRIEND'S BUSINESS"><img src="LINK TO IMAGE" border="0" alt=""></a>
If you want a BBCode to use in a post:
- Code:
[url=LINK TO YOUR FRIEND'S BUSINESS][img]LINK TO IMAGE[/img][/url]

You can insert HTML, Java, etc in either your forum's homepage message, in widgets, or in your forum's description; the homepage message is best recommended.
The 'back to school' thing is just a scrolling announcement (Admin Panel > General tab > Messages and Emails -- Announcements.) The blank area of space that is below the scrolling announcement is the homepage message. You can achieve access to the homepage message by navigating through the following:
If you want to insert an image in the homepage message, then just use this code to support the image:
Hope all of that helps you out.

It's no problem.
Yeah, you can add more of the clickable images until the scrolling announcement cannot fit anything else.
