Thumbnails (preview pics) in Subject Headings.

Forgive me if this question has been asked before. I've done a bit of looking around and have not found my exact query yet.

I offer custom content recolors at my little Sims 2 forum.
What I would like to do is feature a "sneak peek" image in the form of a small thumbnail in the subject heading of each download thread.

For example, in the small space between where the sticky icon and the subject heading is, could a small image be inserted as a preview of each download? This way, my members can do some "window shopping" and decide which recolors they'd like to check out for their games.
Otherwise, my members have to click on each thread and look through them, which can be time consuming.
Most people are visual types, so a little image to show them what's inside the post would be great.

I know we can create an index thread/post and use tables. But what about in the subject area as shown in the pic?

Tables can't be put in topic title. So its not possible, I think.

but if you have topic icons like that you can do it .

Since we can create an index thread and in the index post use tables, I decided to go ahead and do that.
It's effective and neat looking...probably a better deal if I want to keep things organized and from looking too busy or sloppy.

I solved the problem by creating indexes for each download category I have, like the above.
