Okay, in our forum, we just made a member a mod.
Now under the forum's name and discription, it says: Moderator: *that member's name*.
how do i take out that text that shows who the moderator is?

Re: Read Please: How to take out Mod text
You can't. You can however create a group which has mod capabilities in the forums u wish and add the members to that group.
Re: Read Please: How to take out Mod text
Yes you can.
You have to make a group and make it hidden put your member to be mod in that group.
Assign the group as mod of the forum, as the group are hidden it wont show up

Thanks but it doesn't seem to work....
I made the Moderator group hidden and updated it. Then I went back to the forum and the text is still there.

Make sure you go under the user's permission and uncheck all the is a moderator boxes. The hidden group will give them those permissions.
Re: Read Please: How to take out Mod text
I made the group hidden and I went to "User admin and Group admin" then "Group Admin" then permissioner. I unchecked everything and click saved. It didn't work.trevor1189 wrote:W3~Lucario wrote:Thanks but it doesn't seem to work....

Do I have to give that member specific permission? And if so, how? I can't find the place to go to so I can give specific members permission.
Re: Read Please: How to take out Mod text
For the user(s) you want to be mods, go under their permissions (user permissions not group permissions) and uncheck all the is a moderator boxes. Then go under the hidden moderator group you made and click permissions then click is a moderator in the forums you want. That is how mine is setup and it works ok.
