How to block IP addresses in order to block the spammer.

Hi,

Lately there has been a persistent spammer keep signing up different usernames on my forum.
Is there a way to block his access by IP addresses?

Please advice.

You can IP ban the Spammer or Email ban him. That's the way to stop the spammer.
P.S. BTW that skin your site has my site has the same one.

You can IP Ban someone via:
Admin panel >> Users & Groups ( Tab ) >> Banning > IP Banning.

However if the spammer uses a proxy then he wont stop once you IP Ban him

and saddly theres no option for blocking Proxy IPs into Forumotion
just ban the username the emails and Ips
that should keep him outside if he dosent use a proxy or another email like most spammers use
