Any way of moving forums and posts to another forum?

This is a totally hypothetical question, but should we ever want to use a different method of hosting our forum, and decided to use something like vBulletin for instance, is there any way of moving all our users and posts to a new forum?

So is it more of a case that you wont let us move the posts rather than it can't be done?

A little advised...

id just compared forumotion to other free forum site there outside...

forum motion is the only free forum that has a lot of problems encountered by a user...

here in support section \users they seek a lot of problem....

unlike on the other site their user does not encounter alot probs..
