Temporary Themes

How do I upload a skin to a temporary theme I am working on?

since I never got an answer for this I will bump this and elaborate a bit. I want to update my site from phpbb2 to 3 and it says that I can do it without any trouble, yet when I make the change in the preview it looks all wrong with everything aligning to the left of the site.

So I go to make an entirely new theme using the temp theme and I pick the new version and select prosilver but it again looks like a blank site. When I add what i have from my current site again to the temp theme it still does not look right so I am really looking for some help with this.

Its better to directly install the skin from hitskin.com

Just changing the version via admin panel, causes problems in the skin & hence not suggested.

So then there is no way to just test out a skin before I load it up?

However even when I preview a skin on Hitskin that is phpbb3 it still does the same thing as making everything align to the left.

What aligns to the left, can you provide a screenshot please?

As you can when I preview my forum it aligns everything to the left of the screen, not just the modules which are suppose to be there but the entire forum is smashed into the left side of the screen.

Check this out, it appears fine to me. it could be a problem with that skin you choose.

The issue is you selected a phpbb2 skin and I want to use phpbb3 now and that's whats giving me the problems.

In your currrent skin have you done any modifications to the template??

Some....is that why its like that?

Edit: I deleted my templates and its still doing the same thing.

I still can see the template editing thing. At the bottom there are ads.

I am not fully aware of a solution to the problem, but we can troubleshoot.

I deleted them then put them back when it did not work.
