Problems with a language of the forum – Croatian

Hi, my forum is in croatian, and we have some unusual letters like č, ć, š, ž, đ, š .

In the forum general functions, unfortunately this letters are substitute by some other letters and signs .

For example to Send the post (very important icon) in the stand of Pošalji – there is Po§alji.
In FAQ - there is @in place of big Š and kind of å in a place of small š , and this is really hard to follow – same letter in three ways.
Same story with đ, ž, č, ć……….

I would correct it my self – but I didn’t find this option.

My users are asking me, and I’m asking you how we can do something.
I could send you all the most important corrections.

I just checked phpBB support site, but it's looking like are offering help and discussion just for phpBB3 - and I'm on phpBB2.
Hope somebody can help me here.
