I have just discovered this option and am wanting to know how it works and what others are using it before, before I activate it.

Can anyone elaborate?

the login pop up is an alternative login form.

it pops up and shows you information about the site, which you write, there is a login and register button and a don't show again button.

its nice way to let guests register, or login
