Can i use my own themes ?

Hello !

i wan to ask something.. about themes.. after i search some forum, i found a forumotion forum

but the themes is different with the hitskins themes..

i want my forum like that too.. but i don't understand how to create the themes like that forum..

now I'm searching in google themes for forum.. i found nice one ! but don't understand how to insert the theme to my forum..

Forumotion forums are different to most forum company's.

Here's the 2 different ways:

1) The simple way: Use http://hitskin.com and select ur desired skin from there

2) The skin-creator's way: Here you get to make ur own skin, and at the end of it all, you have to export the skin, and ensure it is in .phpbb format, then register on hitskin and upload it from there.
Note that Hitskin is a free for all skin selection source, if you upload ur skin there then anyone with forumotion forums can use ur skin!

I have made a skin for my forum now I want to post it on hitskin, how should I post?
As you said to Export theme, did you mean the option 'Export Theme' under theme management in Admin Panel?

But when I export the theme its extension is .bbtheme is that right?

You can't directly use the skins forund on other websites than hitskin.com.
You have to upload the images on your image host, change colors via Admin CP > Display > Colors and make necessary codes for CSS too.
