Post by Rottie Mad November 23rd 2009, 1:10 pm

hi

I was wondering, we run alot of competition on my site, but it all comes out of our own pockets
is there a way for me to set up a payment scheme for when people register only like £2.00
is this possible

thanks xx

Hello,

There is no standard way to set up payment scheme but you can do trick.

You can create a forum for competition and allow access to a particular group.
You can add members to that group manually.

You have to add those members who pay you via PayPal or any other service.

Hope this helps Very Happy

You mean you want members to pay while registering on your forum?

You will have to use pay pal or something like that then once you recive paymeant you can register them your self. that will be the only way.

But remember it's somtimes hard enough to get members on your forum free ;et alone trying to get people to pay.. good luck thumleft

yes you can set it up like that. i am just unsure about adding the link for them to go to for pay pal or how ever you will get paid.

i think you best bet would be to activate members your self. this way they can register then after you receive payment you can activate there accounts.

In your profile field.
be sure to have the option (Necessarily filled ) set to yes.
i believe this is how to make it obligatory. they changed the name of it.
