How can I move the nav bar closer to the banner?

Hope this is the right area to post...

I just need to find out how to move my banner and nav bar closer together...right now there is a 1 1/2 space I would like to close. Board is invision.

Hello,

I think its you forum title that makes big space between banner and nav bar.
Try removing title from Admin CP > Display > Headers & Navigation > Display Title : 'No'

Would I have to create a larger banner to close the remaining 1/2 inch or is there another way to close the gap a bit?

I would like it to look like this forumotion page...the nav bar is neatly tucked under the banner with no space.

For that go to Admin CP > Display > Colors >CSS
Add this code there and submit...

Code:

#submenu {
margin-top : -20px;
}

Adjust -20px as per your need.
