Moving a Post Empty Moving a Post

Is there a way to move a post (in this case, the first post in a topic) to another topic? I'm pretty sure I've seen it happen, but I don't know how. I'd rather not copy-and-paste, because I don't want to receive credit for this post.

See if by splitting the topic it works. First split & then move it.
