Solved How to put the title of the most recent post on the front page?

Hi, I'm running a parenting forum and one of my members wants to one if we can make it so that on the front page, it's possible to see the name of the last topic posted on, and the username of the last poster. That way when we click on the title, it takes us right to that last post (no scrolling necessary). We have it on another forumotion forum we post at, and would like to recreate it. How can I do that?

Display>Structure & hierarchy
Show last topic titles on index: Yes
Save.
